Haven Foundation (HAF) is an indigenous, not-for-profit, children, youth and women development organization founded in 2008 to inspire, empower, educate and nurture less fortunate and under-served communities. We are focused on rejuvenating the lives of people through empowerment programs with an emphasis on Education, HIV prevention, Sexual Reproductive Health and Rights, Leadership and Entrepreneurship skills development. Our programs are based on a holistic bottom up model following individual change to achieve sustainable self-reliance.

HAF provides and equips children (5 – 12 years), young people (13 – 24 years), Youth and Women (25 – 35 years) with high quality and high impact programming through trainings, capacity building, strategic partnerships, specialized service referrals and issue-specific advocacy. Since 2008, we have impacted 658 orphans and vulnerable children through education, trained 22,586 unemployed youth, created 8,452 community health key informants known as Peer Corps, supported 1,654 HIV positive youth, empowered 9,657 young mothers and nurtured 36,251 young leaders. The management team of counselors, mentors, trainers and volunteers are the key players in the implementation of our activities.
