Mr. Ddungu Joseph – Executive Director
Joseph Ddungu Ssekitto has 10 years of experience as a social activist, an active participant in health and development issues that affect and beneficial to children, adolescents, youth, girls and women. He is a Mandela Washington Fellow for Young African Leaders 2016 where he attained an Executive Certificate in Civic Leadership from Rutgers University – USA. He is a certified trainer at Peace Corps – US Mission Uganda, an Entrepreneurship Master Trainer at Rotary Uganda, under Rotary Vijana Poa Program, An Activator (US Mission Uganda Youth Program) and Social Anthropologist (BA – Makerere University). He founded and worked with Haven Anti-AIDS Foundation for 10 years as the Executive Director. As Executive Director, he oversees all the activities of the organization.
Ms. Mayanja Jamila – Deputy Director / Public Relations and Advocacy
Jamila holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration in Marketing from MUBS. She is a Mandela Washington Fellow 2015 for Young African Leaders. She is a professional and good marketer, youth mobilizer and aggressive business woman. In general, a very cheerful person and always providing a warm welcome with a lasting impression. She’s responsible for all information, research and advocacy. Publicity and marketing the organization are her specialties.
Ms. Nambi Agatha – Financial Controller
A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration (Accounting) at Ndejje University, Agatha is experienced in accounting and manages to keep the books of accounts to a balanced level. She heads the finance department and is responsible for overall financial accountability, budgeting and monthly accounts.
Mr. Mutebi Timothy – Programs
With a Diploma in HIV/AIDS, he coordinates the Programmes, social and economic activities in and outside HAF, with the aim of involving all HAF youth members in development activities. He identifies areas and divisions where help is needed in the development of the HAF’s programmes and projects.
Mr. Tereka Kenneth – Production Manager
Dancing and Drama as his career, he makes HIV prevention skits, plays, and manages performers. He also trains, mentors and nurtures young people in dancing and drama involving them into activities that promote their talents. During outreaches, he is the technical person and location scout with programme expertise.
