Empower, Engage, Educate
Habitation for Empowerment Network is a consortium of indigenous, non-profit and Non-Government Organizations started in 2010 working towards the social and economic development of marginalized and other vulnerable persons in less fortunate and under-served communities. We are focused on rejuvenating the lives of people through empowerment programs with an emphasis on Education, Health, Mentorship, Mindset Change, Water & Sanitation and Entrepreneurship skills development. Our programs are based on a holistic bottom-up model following individual change to achieve sustainable self-reliance. We seek to increase resources and create platforms for children, youth, girls and women to access and exchange information and opportunities.

Since 2009, we are Educating, Training, Empowering and Supporting Children, Adolescents, Youth, Girls and Women.
What We Do
We take a community development approach by providing education, mentorship, practical entrepreneurship skills, psychosocial support and advocate for services to improve people’s living conditions and sustainability.
Education for Special Needs
We are offering scholarships to special needs children for social inclusion as well as teenage mothers to continue with their education. We mentor, train, suport and empower special needs children as well as young adolescent mothers to startup small initiatives to become self-sutaining
Water & Sanitation
We are improving the sanitation of especially for girls and women with clean water for their Menstrual Hygiene. We provide sanitary towels to school going girls and build incinerators for easy disposing off as well as protecting the environment. Our health kits help the girls and women to prevent infections
Entrepreneurship
Our trainings provide the adolescents, youth, girls and women with new innovative and practical skillls to startup, professionalize and sustain their initiatives. THe beneficiaries are provided with internship placements and a chance to pitch their initiatives to investors to win investment capital to boost their initiatives.
Building Successful NGOs & CBOs
With the collapsing of the NGOs sector in Uganda, we are supporting organizations with Capacity Building trainings to bring about sustainability. NGOs undergo trainings to easily acquire funding for their organization and develop their communities.
