International Women’s Day 2025 – How we Celebrated Women
In 2025, “For ALL Women and Girls: Rights. Equality. Empowerment.”, emphasising the need to uplift women in all spheres of life. As we gather today, let’s reflect on the progress made and the steps still needed to create a more inclusive world.
As the world celebrates International Women’s Day, there is the urgent need to prioritize investments in women and girls to drive meaningful progress towards gender equality and sustainable development.
This women’s month, we are skilling more than 500 women and girls in soft skills through the BuildUp Skills program to enable them participate in economic growth, improve their household incomes, reduce on the domestic violence, boost social development, poverty reduction, among others.

Our Opportunities for Women and Girls
One of the most effective ways to accelerate progress is by investing in education for girls. When girls are educated, they are more likely to delay marriage, have fewer children, earn higher incomes, and contribute to the economic development of their communities and nations.
Investing in Women’s Health. Access to quality healthcare services, including reproductive health care, maternal care, and family planning, not only improves women’s health outcomes but also contributes to healthier families, communities, and societies.
Women’s economic empowerment. Women entrepreneurs and business owners play a crucial role in driving economic growth, creating jobs, and fostering innovation. By providing women with access to financial services, training, mentorship, and market opportunities, we can unleash their entrepreneurial spirit and catalyse economic progress.
